Kristy joined the 7 News team for the second time in September of 2003. Kristy is WVUA's 10pm newscast producer and news anchor. Kristy previously worked for KATC-TV in LaFayette, Louisiana as a reporter. Some of her biggest stories to cover while there was the Southwest Lousiana serial killer and Hurricane Lili. She also worked for a time for WJRD-TV in Tuscaloosa as a reporter. Kristy graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast News with a minor in Political Science. In her free time, Kristy enjoys reading, dancing, Alabama football games, and spending time with family and friends. She's a native of Tuscaloosa County and graduated from Brookwood High School.
